About
KybaBox wasn't a "business idea." It was a necessity.
After our family recently moved to a new home I was standing in our garage surrounded by 60 identical brown boxes. It was 7:30am, I was exhausted from all the moving the day prior (and the kids getting up early excited to be in their new home), and all I wanted was the coffee maker. I knew it was somewhere in the pile, but after opening ten boxes that definitely weren't it, I realized how absurd the situation was.
"It was 7:30am... and all I wanted was the coffee maker."
I can find a specific email from six years ago in two seconds. But I couldn't find a kitchen appliance five feet in front of me. That struggle was the spark that led to KybaBox.
The physical world should be just as searchable as the digital one
Moving is stressful. Storage is a black hole. Whether you're relocating across the country or just trying to reclaim your garage, you shouldn't have to hold a "mental map" of every cardboard box and plastic bin you own.
The goal is simple: You should be able to type "Winter Boots" or "Hair Ties" into your phone and know exactly which box to open. No digging. No "where did I put that?" anxiety.
A note on privacy
Most apps today treat your life like a product—selling your data or using your habits to train AI. Not KybaBox. Our tool is here to help you find your stuff. Your inventory is encrypted, private, and remains that way.
The mission
To stop the "moving day meltdown" before it starts. We want to help give you back your time and your sanity. Life is messy enough. Your storage doesn't have to be.
Here's to never losing track of your stuff again.
Cheers,
Steve
